DAY 02: Katra-Vaishnodevi-Katra
14 km from Tara in the morning. Departure for the darshan of the distant Vaishnodevi. Sighting can be done by walking, horse, doli or helicopter. Return to Katra after darshan in the evening. Overnight stay Katra
DAY 03 : Katra to Srinagar
Morning departure from Katra to Srinagar Airport & meet our representative and drive to Srinagar. After checking into the hotel, enjoy a 1 hr shikara ride in Dal Lake. On return visit a local Handicrafts Showroom for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewelry ornaments. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.
Day: 04 Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 56 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis). Day: 06 Srinagar- Pahalgam
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.
Day: 07 Srinagar- Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for Jammu to drop at Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with sweet memories of the tour.
